Brad Pollock  has been an attorney at Walsh, Knippen, Knight & Pollock, Chartered since 2000 and a named partner since 2006. Prior to joining the firm, Brad practiced as a trial lawyer in Chicago, both as an insurance defense attorney and as an attorney representing the rights of injured people. This unique perspective assists Brad in his aggressive representation of his injured clients' best interests. Brad concentrates his practice in the area of catastrophic personal injury, including automobile/truck, professional negligence/malpractice and products liability. Brad has been named by Illinois Super Lawyers as a 2008 Super Lawyer, limited to the top five percent of lawyers in the State of Illinois.

Since joining the firm, Brad has successfully secured numerous settlements and jury verdicts on behalf of his clients in the millions of dollars. One of his recent accomplishments involved a 2 1/2 week medical negligence trial with firm attorney Ed Walsh that resulted in a verdict in favor of the Plaintiff in the amount of $7,287,083.00.  The case involved a Defendant physician's failure to properly treat a non-cancerous facial tumor resulting in partial facial paralysis and disfigurement. The unanimous jury verdict far exceeded the Defendant's $500,000.00 settlement offer. 
 
Brad has been nominated by his peers and selected as an "Illinois Super Lawyer" in 2008, a distinction limited to 5% of attorneys in the State of Illinois.

In addition to his busy practice, Brad serves as a guest lecturer at Midwestern University speaking to students in the medical field on the Plaintiff's perspective on tort litigation. He has also presented a seminar to fellow trial attorneys for the DuPage County Bar Association entitled "Handling the Catastrophic Injury Case From Interview to Verdict." In 2005, Brad was appointed as the Vice-Chairman of the DuPage County Bar Association Civil Practice Committee and will serve as Chairman of that Committee in 2007-2008. Brad has also been appointed and serves on the DuPage County Bar Association Judicial Committee, a panel that evaluates Associate Judicial candidates seeking appointment to the Bench. Brad is also an invited member of the Inns of Court (DuPage County), a group limited to 80 attorneys and Judges from the area which meets to discuss and analyze an array of current legal issues. He has also regularly donated his time as an invited Judge for the annual John Marshall Law School International Moot Court Competition in Information Technology and Privacy Law, involving law schools from all over the world. 
 
Brad s other interests include spending time with his family, outdoor activities, and physical fitness. Brad competes in and has run numerous road races, including three marathons.
